Roman is the star and the director of our Gordon train shows, sister the sidekick. When daddy first saw the little Thomas train, he could never had imaged that there would be over 200 trains running in his house. Neither does daddy has much control of Roman watching too much youtube in so many languages. Well, life is not something we could plan well and daddy only wishes your passion can grow bigger and broader (not just to McQueen and Chuck, more, way more).

"I am the number 4 tank engine not really 4 years old." Roman is deeply in love with trains and cars but above all, he is totally mesmerized by Gordon, the #4 tank engine. It is too bad that Gordon is not even half as popular as Thomas and we could find maybe only one tshirt with Gordon on. He has been role playing the big tank engine all day. The 2nd favorite is this Cranky the crane. Well, he has to watch their stories many many times each day and will go to bed with the dear Gordon. Keep rocking and rolling! May you always be so strong in the long journey called life!

I am two and I am cool! Ya! 若若两岁啦！

Roman is two now. He doesn't sing as many songs or know all alphabets as his sister did at two becasue he has to learn everything harder way in both Chinese and English. He is 27 lb and 89 cm (35"), about 50% weight and height, 100% cool. Still loves Gordon and little trains, or maybe even more so as he grows. May you always have something to love deeply in your life!

Golden boy 金童

Roman loves the little trains very differently from his big sis. He knows the names of all little ones: from Tommy to Freddie with the favorite ones being Gorden and Cranky for now. He watched a lot Thomas in English even though he just understood the names. He can speak some sentences now.

Roman playing mom's piano (19m) 若宝弹妈妈的大钢琴了！

Roman loves the piano from mom and dad's iphones the most. The grand piano is so much harder but quite bit more intriguing! Not that we are teaching him any lesson soon, he is just having fun. He understands when mom needs to work and he will just wave goodbye without crying at all. As the reward, he can play a little when mom is done with her classes. Roman can say quite some words now. Keep it up! It is fun to make comparison with Duclea. See when she played the piano at 22m. Dulcea was definitely more talkative at this age was creating her own words at 22m.

Cool Dude (19m) 若宝戴姐姐的眼镜装酷

Well, daddy thinks it is cool without your sister's sun glasses. This is Roman's favorite blanket. He has to carry it wherever he goes.

Wet my feet in the sea of knowledge, lol? (19m now) 我现在在知识的游泳池边玩玩水就好了

Roman has several favorite characters: Sid, Barny, Elmo, Thomas, McQueen and couple more. Sid is probably the favorite. Who wouldn't want to be a super cool scientist? Not sure it is good or bad to watch so many DVDs (and netflix).

He loves water but won't go to anywhere deep. My boy, fear is the normal part of our human experience and it actually protects us. May you always know your limit when you grow up!

Diaper warrior and monster trucker (17m) 小小格斗士

Well, what do they say? Give a kid a knife! Roman truly loves knives, big and small. He can say less than 100 words by now. The most frequent ones are two "DaoDao" (knife in Chinese) and "Car". He is still interested in being a janitor but he might have shown some talent in programming. So far, he only knows two characters that are the foundation of our while digital world: 1 in Chinese and O in English.

Whatever you have it, I want it! (1y2m), 我穿大鞋， 就是好！就是好！

Roman is 1y2m now and has started fighting for his right. He can say about 10 words and understand a little bit more. Life is too short to fight for things that are not worth the energy. I know you will learn it sooner than later. 小若一岁两月了，爱穿爸爸妈妈和姐姐的鞋，开始跟姐姐抢东西了。
